Our nearest town is Rylstone, one of the oldest villages west of the Great Dividing Range. It was recently named by Australian Traveller as one of the top 10 secret spots to visit in Australia.
We are also on the doorstep of Dunns swamp, or Ganguddy as it is known in the Wiradjuri language. Ganguddy is a beautiful waterway on the Cudgegong river in the Wollemi National Park and is a perfect spot for a picnic or to go kayaking. There is also a network of easy hikes with beautiful views over the river.
